And she was new. Other managers
have had that position for longer than
she’d worked there.
One day she was walking by HR and
saw her name on the whiteboard.
She panicked and asked her friend in
HR about it.
They started together and became
close so she thought she could trust
her.
She told her everything would be fine.
Not knowing she was just telling her
what she wanted to hear.
The next day, she arrived at work and
was called into the boss’s office.
